A unique push button quick release system. The QRH Hook has been developed with safety in mind and in the light of documented fatalities. Suitable for any trapezing boat, this hook greatly reduces the risk of being trapped when capsizing and could easily become the ‘norm’ on many harnesses.
This design has been rigorously tested over many years by experts, racers and sailing beginners. ‘It is our opinion that Race officers could before long insist on some form of emergency quick release before accepting race entries.’
All parts of the new QRH system are constructed in polished stainless steel and glass filled nylon. It has been styled to look good and includes a ramp lead in for the trapeze ring, and ‘flush out’ channels to clear debris. The contrasting red button is clearly marked RELEASE and easy to operate.
