Description
Owatrol Deks Olje D.2 is a tough, varnish-like oil designed to enhance the natural beauty of interior and exterior wood. It forms a highly flexible film which moves with the wood to prevent peeling and flaking.
The more coats of Deks Olje D.2 applied, the glossier the finish will be. Sanding between coats is not required and maintenance and repair can also be carried out without stripping.
Before using Deks Olje D.2, all wood surfaces should be treated and protected with Deks Olje D.1 saturating wood oil. Unlike traditional varnishes, this coating will not blister, and prepared with Deks Olje D.1’s penetrating oil, it will also not peel or flake.
NOTE: On boats, D.2 can be used for all applications above the waterline but due to the high gloss finish it is not suitable for surfaces which will be walked on as it would be too slippery.
