Description
The Centek 1520400 GRP Vernalift waterlock features a ‘Dual Stage’ configuration with ports on either side of the muffler body. This Centek waterlock is appropriate for use with inboard engines only and should be installed below the engine as the lowest point of the exhaust system. It must be installed above the waterline and is suitable for petrol (gas) or diesel applications. It has Centek’s best sound absorbing properties of 25-30 dB depending on the engine it is being used with.
Centek 1520400 Dual Stage lift muffler incorporates an extra chamber inside the body to further enhance sound muffling capabilities. It is the equivalent of having two mufflers in the system.
The Centek range of exhaust waterlocks are made from heat resistant GRP (glass reinforced plastic) along with the rest of their wet exhaust system components. Because of this construction, the waterlocks are corrosion resistant and can withstand heat up to 177°C (350°F). The Centek exhaust range is ABS, ABYC, Lloyds and UL approved.
The Centek Vernalift is only suitable for use in wet exhaust systems and should be used with approved rubber marine exhaust hose.
