Description
Baileys Premium polyester resin, also known as “boat builders resin” is ideal for general repairing of fibreglass boat hulls and marine maintenance applications. This high quality, Lloyds approved general purpose laminating / lay-up resin is used in thousands of repair projects. Baileys 5kg low-styrene resin is ideal for repairs of larger areas with a slightly longer gel time of 15 to 20 minutes, allowing more time to get the repair finished. The standard resin features excellent adhesion properties and is widely used for general mould making, motorcycle / automotive repairs, canoe / kayak repair projects, as well as many more repair applications. Requires 2% MEKP liquid hardener to cure (supplied with resin).
When mixing with MEKP hardener use the ratio 2 parts MEKP hardener to 100 parts Premium resin (MEKP ratio can be increased in colder conditions or decreased in warmer conditions).
