info Quick Overview

Description

Baileys Premium Polyester Flowcoat in brilliant white 250g. This Flowcoat is a Lloyds approved coating which provides excellent weathering and water resistance properties to fibreglass. Also known as Topcoat, it is generally used as an all-purpose coating for GRP constructions and maintenance. Flowcoat will air dry rock-hard and tack-free due to the addition of a wax in styrene solution, and requires only 1 coat. Apply the high grade UV stabilised Topcoat using a brush or roller.

This Flowcoat is supplied with MEKP liquid catalyst, which is required for the coating to cure. The mix ratio is 2 parts MEKP hardener to 100 parts Flowcoat.

The Flowcoat is applied instead of a Gelcoat, and should be applied in workshop temperatures between 16 – 23°C.

Gel time: less than 15 minutes

Cure time: less than 90 minutes
