Scout VHF 90 high performance masthead antenna featuring the precision Windex wind indicator. This unique solution positions the Windex 15 on top of the Scout’s rigid foam injected antenna, allowing for high quality VHF transmission and true undisturbed wind readings. It is suitable for long range communication in sailing boat applications. The easy-to-install antenna wind indicator combination will free up space on top of the masthead.
The Scout antenna measures 90cm long with its reinforced 1.4mm thick fibreglass whip, which is foam injected and 100% waterproof. It features a high gloss, ice white finish with anti-UV filter to prevent colour deterioration.
The Windex is securely connected to the Scout antenna with a chrome plated joint. The Windex continues its high performance with its famous sapphire jewel bearing suspension system measuring wind speeds down to 2 tenths of a knot.
The 3db antenna comes with a N-type female connector to optimise signal transmission quality, as well as a heavy duty 3mm thick electropolished stainless steel bracket for secure masthead installation.
