info Quick Overview

Description

Black Milliput is a versatile, high-performance epoxy putty designed for a wide range of repair and restoration tasks including use on materials such guttering, ebonised wood, marble, slate, cast iron, basalt ceramics, and black plastic parts in cars (like bumpers, handles, and knobs).

Milliput is supplied as two sticks with a long shelf life, and when mixed, it forms a soft, highly adhesive putty that gradually hardens. At normal temperatures (20-25ºC), it becomes rock hard within three to four hours, but you can accelerate the setting time with heat.

Once fully cured, Milliput can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, sanded, and painted, offering endless possibilities for finishing touches.

This epoxy putty is an excellent adhesive, bonding materials like wood, brick, cement, metals, plastics, glass, and more. It even sets underwater and is heat resistant up to 130°C.

Please note: Milliput is not intended as a thin-layer adhesive and should be used where a thicker application is required.

Typical Applications:

– Filling dents and scores in metal, plastics, or wood

– Repairing water and fuel systems

– Caulking, filling, and sealing on fiberglass, metal, and wooden boat decks and hulls

– Model making and sculpting

– Jewellery making

– Picture frame restoration

– Plumbing repairs

– Underwater applications

– Temporary repairs for car petrol tanks, batteries, radiators, and exhausts
