Description
The Faria Beede Chesapeake Stainless Steel Black style speedometer gauge features a stainless steel bezel, black dial, white pointer and graphics displaying speed, with LED back lighting and a domed glass lens.
This Faria Beede speedometer gauge uses GPS (Global Positioning System) technology to gauge the speed of your boat. The gauge features a built in antenna to receive the speed and heading data, eliminating the need for an external antenna. This equates to a reading in the dashboard mounted speedo. The speed reading is accurate to ±1MPH and the heading is accurate to ±1° regardless of the speed being travelled.
Although the gauge features an analogue pointer to display the speed, it is powered by a digital stepper motor to improve accuracy and eliminate pointer bounce. There is also a digital display which shows the compass rose heading and actual heading. This gauge can be installed as a direct “plug and play” replacement for your existing speedometer.
This speedometer measures up to 60 mph and has a secondary reading up to 100 km/h.
