Description
This water pump can be found fitted to later BMC 1.5 Leyland 1500 diesel engines as alternative to the 131091, and was especially popular on engines intended for fixed speed applications. This is the internal engine water pump for the fresh water (antifreeze) coolant.
One of four water pump options, this pump has a 70mm diameter pump impeller and a four hole pulley mounting flange to allow a for a smaller pulley. Water pump 131093 is supplied complete with a gasket.
Popular applications for this water pump were mostly individually marinised late model 1.5 engines, from gensets or fridge applications, but also included boat engines such as:
