Description

The Quick Balder BL2 windlass with horizontal axis is designed for installation in the anchor locker compartment. This windlass is fitted with a 100% recyclable technopolymer gearbox.

This BL2 model has a 900W motor at 12 volts, providing a maximum working load of 300kg (661.4 lbs) and a maximum chain speed of 22.6 meters per minute (74.1 ft per minute).

To ease the positioning, the motor can rotate up to 180° at 45° increments and thanks to a specific bracket, the windlass can be installed on the bulkhead or below deck.

This windlass features a 6mm gypsy which is suitable for 6mm DIN 766, 6mm ISO and 1/2″ (12.7mm) rope (this value refers to a three-strand polyester rope with a rope/chain splice manufactured with the “Quick®” system).
