22B60 R & D Marine Damper Drive Plate
Fitted between the engine and the gearbox input shaft, a damper drive plate is designed to transmit the engine power to the gearbox, whilst reducing transmitted gear noise and providing a cushioned drive when selecting gear. All R and D Damper Drive plates include a ‘failsafe’ design.
Also called the Driven Plate, Damper Plate or Clutch Plate, the 22B60 Damper Drive Plate is from the R and D range. Common applications for this drive plate include Kubota based engines such as Beta Marine. It can replace PRM drive plate 22B60.
The technical details:
Spline: 10 teeth DIN 5464 (29mm diameter) for ZF Hurth HBW 35, 40, 50, 100, 125 & 150 gearboxes, TMC 30, 40, 50 & 60 gearboxes and PRM 80, 120 & 150 gearboxes.
Diameter of drive plate back plate which bolts to the engine flywheel: 215.9mm 8″.
Back plate fixing holes: 6 x 8.1mm on 200mm pcd Beta SAE 6-1/2.
Drive plate maximum thickness: 32mm (1.25″).
Fitted with the robust type B loop element for 135 Nm 100 ft lb torque, which can be mounted either round on the flywheel and rotated in either direction. This drive plate element will provide linear stiffness up to 3 degrees of deflection and is failsafe.
