Norfloat heavy duty inflatable rod mooring buoy in signal orange is suitable to be used in harbours, local authorities, sailing associations and mooring contractors, and have been for nearly 50 years! Manufactured from rotationally moulded UV stable marine grade PVC. The mooring rod buoy features a heavy duty steel rod made from 18mm Galvanised steel and forged swivel (certificated to 5 tons), providing reliability, quality and value for money.
The Norfloat standard football type needle inflation valve is reliable and effective, allowing easy inflation and deflation. The valve is sealed using a coarse threaded plastic screw which is impossible to cross thread. The plastic design ensures seawater will not cause corrosion or seizure. Use inflation kit 6-110310 and the double action pump 6-110311 for inflation.
