Description
Maestrini bsp pipe connection elbow, compact 45 degree with female threaded 2.5″bsp ports, made from dezincification resistant brass (DZR) which is also known as CR brass (corrosion resistant brass). This material is a brass alloy which prevents corrosion, caused by the loss of zinc in the fitting, making it suitable for exposure to sea water. A 45° elbow is used to connect two pieces of equal sized pipe at a slight angle.
Please Note: All fittings used for through hull applications must be correctly electrically bonded to ensure protection from electrolytic corrosion. DZR is suitable for below waterline through hull applications.
