The Maestrini tapered pipe plug is made from bronze and has a 1-1/4″ BSP tapered male thread. This material is tough and corrosion resistant making it suitable for exposure to sea water. This plug acts as a blanking cap for female threaded pipes.
Please Note: All fittings used for through hull applications must be correctly electrically bonded to ensure protection from electrolytic corrosion. Bronze is highly suitable for below waterline through hull applications.
