Description
This hot air unit can be used for both hot cabin heating and windscreen demisting. Designed on the same principle as a vehicle heater but larger and to marine material specification for connection to your closed circuit fresh water cooling system. As heat loss in pipes from engine is negligible the unit is best sited near to the cabin. Universal mounting normally below engine header tank. The radiator, fan and electric motor are housed in rectangular S/S body. Remote external air supply can by used by S/S adaptor which fits rear of heater to take 2 x 89mm ID ducting, as illustrated right. The motors used in this heater matrix are a brushed-type motor.
